MARK TWAIN Remembered

On the 100th anniversary of Samuel L. Clemens' death (4/21/1910)
centennial events will be celebrated in Elmira, NY, where he lived in middle age.

A number of events are being planned this week and next including a performance by
Twain impersonator Hal Holbrook;
[quite possibly canceled due to the recent death of the actor's wife Dixie Carter

a theatrical reading of Twain's correspondence and a re-enactment of Twain's burial.
