GENESEE VALLEY CIVIL WAR ROUNDTABLE - APR 16




LE ROY — Tom Taber’s subject will be “The Orleans Battery

— 17th N.Y. Light Artillery” when the Genesee Valley Civil 

War Roundtable meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.



A discussion period will follow. Taber will offer copies of his

book for sale, and will autograph copies.



The Roundtable meets at Le Roy United Methodist Church, 

10 Trigon Park (third door on the right end of the long 

sidewalk). New members are welcome.

*Museum Hours* 

The Greece Museum and museum gift shop, 595 Long Pond Rd.,

Greece, NY, 14612, is open Sundays 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 or by appointment.  

*CLOSED EASTER SUNDAY, April 20th.  *The museum and gift shop are

also available for visits most Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday mornings

between 10:00 and Noon.  Please call ahead on those days 225-7221.


*Sunday, May 4* 

Greece Museum, *"The War on Our Shores 1812-1814"* The Greece

Historical Society will debut a new exhibit to mark the 

two hundredth anniversary of the War of 1812. The exhibit

will examine the four visits by the British to Greece's eight-miles

along the shore between 1812 and 1814, most significantly on May 14, 1814.
