Beginning in January we will be hosting several special events on Sunday afternoons at the museum. The following is a list of upcoming special Sunday events. Museum hours are 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Most programs start at 2:00 p.m. There is no charge, but donations to support the mission of the Greece Historical Society & the operation of your museum are appreciated. Watch for the possibility of more special Sunday programs.
Sunday, Jan. 13th, 2:00 p.m. Rochester’s Early Aviation Historyby Bill Sauers –The Rochester area has a rich history in early aviation.Learn about some of our local characters of early aviation, the first local flights in 1910 and 1911, an airport and hanger at Shoremont, the proposed airport at Long Pond and the history of one of the oldest airfields in the country that was once named for a former Town of Greece Supervisor.

Sunday, March 10th, 2:00 p.m. Refugee Tales of a Burmese Family Now Living in GreeceMeet a refugee family making a new life in Greece after many trials and frightening experiences in leaving their home land of Burma. Their heartwarming story is a lesson in overcoming and starting anew with hope.
